Hello,

Most APM vendors make there tool more fancy by offering byte code instrumentation at the hands of the user, is there a way in elastic to get the same info/result?
Or is there a reason why this is not a part of elastic APM,

Hi @stobbe99 ,

The APM Java agent does rely on bytecode instrumentation, so maybe it's what you are looking for here.
