Can no longer enable curl security in elasticsearch:6.3.1?

I'm using the docker image of elasticsearch:6.3.1 (not the platinum). And I can't seem able to add curl security as like in previous elasticsearch. Before, i am able to protect the URL:

curl http://172.17.0.2:9200/

And it will say, access denied because user:password is required. Now, i can no longer protect the URL. What is happening here?

I guess you used the oss version?

I also guess you meant 6.2.1, right?
