In my winlogbeat.yml file, there is a section for sending to syslog. I don't see where I configure a target IP.
Beats do no have a syslog output.
Probably the configuration you are seeing is for the logger. It can write the logs to syslog on non-Windows systems. The options doesn't work on Windows.

Yea I figured Beats itself isn't outputting to syslog. I wasn't sure if the app itself was writing to it.
