I think we can escape " via \ backslash, and other reserved characters via "" or replace all reserved symbols via \ and it will works fine.

String quotes= StringUtils.replaceAll(regexValue, """, "\\"");
String asterisks = StringUtils.replaceAll(escapeAllQuotes, "\", """"); // + - = && || > < ! ( ) { } ^ ~ * ? : \ /
String regexResult= asterisks.toLowerCase();
QueryBuilders.regexpQuery(columnName, "." + regexResult + ".");
