Can't just use email?

Hello!
so i tried sending an email from my gmail account directly, to discuss+elasticsearch@discuss.co , as per Email-Only Interaction with the Forums .

I got twice an email back stating,

noreply@discuss.elastic.co
5:38 PM (3 hours ago)

to me 
We're sorry, but your email message to ["discuss+elasticsearch@elastic.co"] (titled ES 0.90, disable_delete_all_indices) didn't work.

Your account does not have the required trust level to post new topics to this email address. If you believe this is in error, contact a staff member.

.. what am I missing ?
