Cant resolve hotst for Elastic search service

HI,
from a VM on Azure running logstash, i cant resolve the hostname for ESS
adminuser@dazlog101:~$ wget https://xxxx.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud

Resolving xxxx.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud (xxxx.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud)... failed: Name or servi
ce not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address ‘xxxx.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud’

While i can resolve any other hosts
adminuser@dazlog101:~$ wget https://elastic.co
--2020-05-14 11:34:00-- https://elastic.co/
Resolving elastic.co (elastic.co)... 151.101.66.217, 151.101.194.217, 151.101.130.217, ...
Connecting to elastic.co (elastic.co)|151.101.66.217|:443... ^Z

is there some DNS settings i should add to VMS?

The URL https://xxxx.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud seems wrong to me. It should be something like: https://xxxx.westeurope.azure.elastic-cloud.com:9243.
