Using a single shard with no replica in one node , I am getting the capacity of a single shard for a particular index to be higher than the capacity of 3 shards in the same node for the same index with the same hardware. How is that even possible? I have only kept the default settings except for changing the time out value, the number of shards and the number of replicas for the index I am working on. Are there some other parameters involved in this? If yes, please do specify. I am using elasticsearch 5.4
