Clarification on setting up TLS in an elastic cluster

Hello,

im trying to set up TLS in elastic cluster, the cluster works normally without tls, communicating in http, im received from company some certificates for all node of my cluster, ca_cert.crt, subca_cert.crt, machinename.crt and key, at this point i have installed them on each machine, but i have a doubt:

  • have I execute step to generate node certificates :elasticsearch-certutil ca and elasticsearch-certutil cert --ca ?

I think no but im not sure
