Had a question on java transport client certificates and setting up TLS/SSL using Xpack. Could we reuse client certificate across by multiple application servers which use java client ? Using certgen we generate a client certificate (using default CA ) and do not input/tie it to a particular host. Could that then be reused by multiple application servers in the cluster to connect to the elastic cluster .
Is there a need for each application server(java transport client) to have its own client certificate to connect to the cluster.
