Codec multiline in Input section doesn't load last line

I have below configuration , Last line of log is not getting loaded.

codec => multiline {
pattern => "(^[0-9]{4})|(^[A-Z,a-z]{3})"
negate => "true"
what => "previous"
auto_flush_interval => 60
}
}

This doesn't work if file have only one line
