Control highlighting per index pattern?

Is there any option to control highlighting on a per index pattern basis? Currently it seems like a global setting which either enables or disables highlighting for all patterns.
In our case, we have a handful of indices where we want to disable highlighting (due to poor performance) but keep it for all others, which doesn't seem possible at the moment.

Am I missing something or should I submit this as a feature request on GitHub? :slight_smile:

@Dan_Markhasin all of the highlighting settings are global, I definitely see the utility in being able to define them by the index pattern, a feature request on GitHub would be perfect!
