Convert String to integer in Kibana

Hi,

I am getting a value as string in my logs and I want to convert it to integer in the Kibana. I know that I can use Logstash. But I would like to know if there is a way to convert string to integer in Kibana while creating the dashboards. Any help is appreciated.

I don't think you can do that. because it is saved in elasticsearch as text.
