Copy object from one space to other created different ID

I think something change from versiion 7.14.0

in past when i was copying anything from one space to other it was keeping same ID.

now it just creates new different ID.

is this by design? or am I doing something wrong

anyone is having such problem?
is there new setting that will prevent this?

I don't know what I was doing. but this is no longer happening.
