if not are there any other solution to do a cluster between 2 instance of logstash

What are you trying to accomplish or gain by clustering Logstash instances? I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but your goal might be attainable by other means.

i want to make a cluster .. active passive between 2 logstash instances
im already using HAproxy with 2 instances of logstash as active active but i prefer to u user active passive
cuz im using redis cluster ...
Isn't it just a matter of configuring HAproxy to send all traffic to one instance and use the other as a failover?
