Creating "Arms Transfer" like visualization

Hi,

I am sure most of you would have seen this stunning visualization. I want to create a similar one that shows movements of users across different servers. The above one has been created using 'Processing' which appears to be quite involved. If I want to create a similar one, maybe not as rich as this one, are their any simpler options? Thanks.

You might have luck with Vega, but don't believe it would accomplish the animation. Not sure if that's the part you're looking for or not.

I do want to have the animation. That is what will bring the 'wow' factor. :grinning:
