When I create a datafeed using "PUT _xpack/ml/datafeeds/foo" it comes back with a random query_delay added, as documented. But all the datafeeds created through the wizards have a query_delay set to 60. Is that an issue?

Thank you so much for spotting this inconsistency. Indeed, the UI is setting the query_delay from the wizards to the default of 60 seconds. Thank you for this feedback, we'll rectify in the next minor release.
In the meantime, if you need to change the query_delay on existing jobs, you can either do so using the edit job button in the UI or using the Update Datafeed API.
