Delete by Query Impact in terms of Data size vs Time taken

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to understand the impact of using delete by query API in Elasticsearch. I am looking for some formula/metrics in terms of the time taken to delete a certain amount of data. Can anyone please help me with the same? Some examples to explain the use case if available will also help.
