Continuing the discussion from Delete unsued dynamic mapping Fields:
Can anyone please explain from Elasticsearch Team in detail that why we are not able to add this feature of deleting unwanted mapping?
We have 10 million records in our index and it will grow exponentially as time passes.
Do we have to re-index every time we want to delete an unwanted field which was added accidently, this is really very disappointing 
Do we have any plan to add this feature in near future, we will wait till that time, if its 3 or 6 months.
Anyone please reply in detail.. this same question is roaming around all over the web and there is only one reply of ReIndexing. It will be really helpful if someone can explain the reasons behind it in details.
