Deleted filebeat log, now it doesn't log anymore

Hi there,

I installed Filebeat on a Mac (version 6.2.2), and it was logging to logs/filebeat. I deleted that file, and now nothing brings it back. I even tried to recreate the file manually to no avail. I tried to add logging configuration in an attempt to force its creation, but that didn't work either.
Any way to do that?

Restarting Filebeat should recreate the log and resume operation where it was?
