Deploy ElasticSearch 1.0 on Azure in minutes

I have made ElasticSearch 1.0 available to be deployed to Windows Azure in
the Windows Store App "Apps for Azure".

With the trial version you should be able to deploy it for free. It's
available in all the Azure datacenters now. I encourage you to try it.

Thanks,
Tejaswi

Interesting. Could you describe what it does behind the scene?

Thanks!

Hi, great idea.

But, you seem to need to add/modify the following...

  • The default page only describes generic info about Azure apps, nothing
    about your app.
  • You need to describe minimal client machine requirements. I don't know if
anything more is required besides Visual Studio and Azure
extensions/packages. If this is all that is required, then maybe provide a
link to those setups (Platform Builder?)
  • A short blurb on what ES is.
  • You need to describe any special configurations or paths.
  • You will likely need to describe exactly what is being deployed, eg only
dotNET layer? full machine? Underlying OS?
