We are planning to use Amazon OpenSearch Service, but it doesn't work with FS Crawler, so we are considering the solution of deploying Elasticsearch on AWS EKS, and then we found the Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK). Could you please help me with the following questions:
Is there any detail document about how to deploy Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) on AWS EKS?
OpenSearch/OpenDistro are AWS run products and differ from the original Elasticsearch and Kibana products that Elastic builds and maintains. You may need to contact them directly for further assistance.
(This is an automated response from your friendly Elastic bot. Please report this post if you have any suggestions or concerns )
ad 2. this is probably more a AWS question if you are referring to infrastructure cost. Afaik AWS have a cost estimator that can estimate EKS cost as well. On top of that there is license cost for the ECK operator if you want to use the commercial Elasticsearch features. It is probably best to get in touch with the Elastic Sales team for an estimate of that.
