Is there a way to disable or hide the tutorial pages?

Which tutorial are you talking about ? Can you provide exact reference/screenshots/version etc.

Am not sure there is an easier way to do it , its not possible currently. However I searched github issues and found a similar request : https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/21911
if this doesn't suit your criteria, I would advice you to open a new enhancement req in github repo.
