Disabling APM on a running server

Hi,

Is it possible to disable elastic apm agent on a running server without causing any server downtime?

I don't know how elastic is going to behave in one of my environments and would like the ability to turn it off without causing any server downtime if possible, I checked the docs but couldn't find anything relating to this.

Yes, you can set active to false at runtime via the elasticapm.properties or by setting the corresponding system property.
