Display units of measurement in kibana

Hi, I'm facing a small issue with kibana:
I'm trying to display the average response time of our services, but
the thing is the units of measurement is not displayed in my graph, in
this case it is supposed to be in ms (milliseconds).
I'm using kibana 4.1 by the way.
So it is possible to show the unit?

This is a known limitation of Kibana. There is an outstanding issue here.

but is there a way to be sure that is 387.232 ms ?
because, I don't know what this number really represent .

and do you know if in kibana 5 this issue has been handled and we can display units in graphs and various panel ?
