Do I need configuration when I am using docker in production?

I've seen many import settings here (in production): https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/important-settings.html

But not here (in production): https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/docker.html#docker-cli-run-prod-mode

So the question is, should i need to set those important-settings when i am using docker and k8s in production?
