Do I need SSL enabled if I am connecting through private IP addresses?

Hey,

A bit of a newbie here.

To expand on what the title says, I have a server with Filebeat sending logs to a server that has Logstash, Elasticsearch and Kibana.

I am using the private address to connect Filebeat to Logstash. Is it still recommended to use SSL?

Also, is SSL needed on Kibana considering the ELK stack is all on one server?
