Do we need LB to cluster Kibana nodes

Hi Team,

We are in the process of procuring Enterprise ELK license and we are doing a POC while the procurement in progress.

We have 2 kibana nodes, 2 master nodes, 3 HOT data nodes, 2 WARM data nodes and other needed nodes. We are having this setup in Onprem environment and we don't have any enterprise LB like F5, Netscalar etc.

To Load balance Kibana, do we need a external LB such as nginx/f5 etc or is there any other way we can achieve within Kibana itself?

Kibana is not clustered at all, so you would need something in front of it if you wanted multiple instances and then be able to balance between them.
