Does autoscaling in elastic cloud deployments only work on the data size and not the memory?

Hi Team,

I just want to know what are the rules we have on the auto scaling in elastic cloud deployments. We have enabled auto scaling but it is not scaling the instances even if the memory is in critical state. Can anyone please confirm?

Yes based on shard allocation and storage not memory or CPU
