Does Elastic AI Assistant work on the free trial of Elastic Cloud?

I am getting an error that Elastic AI Assistant cannot connect to OpenAI. However, I created a new secret key there.

Yes, the AI Assistant is available in free trials of Elastic Cloud and serverless.

In summary:

Your Elastic Cloud trail includes access to the AI Assistant
Your OpenAI API key appears to be valid (based on the error above)
OpenAI requires credits to use the gpt-4o model; it appears the OpenAI account associated with the API key may not have credits to use it.

OpenAI offers a "Pay as you go" option for OpenAI credits. At the time of this writing, it's possible to make a one time payment, with a minimum of $5.

Note: It may take a few minutes for pay as you go credits to apply to your OpenAI account, which means your API key might fail until they are applied.

Status code: 404. Message: API Error: Not Found - The model `gpt-4o` does not exist or you do not have access to it.

indicates the connector is successfully authenticating with the API key you provided, however the OpenAI account associated with the key may not have access to the gpt-4o model, because OpenAI requires credits; a minimum of $5 at the time of this writing to use that model, as described above.

gpt-4o is the current default model for OpenAI connectors because it has excellent performance for many assistant tasks, however OpenAI requires credits to use it.

Fantastic answer! Thank you so much! My Elastic AI Assistant is working! As I have the paid version of ChatGPT, I thought that OpenAI would charge to my credit card, but I was wrong. You save my life! Thank you so much!
