Does filebeat's logstash output support IPv6?

In the filebeat configuration, can I put IPv6 address as logstash.output destination? Like this?

output.logstash:
    hosts: ["<ipv6-address>:5044"]

ES output supports it, so I think LS also supports the following format:

hosts: ["https://[2001:db8::1]:9200"]
