Dot expander processor

I am running Elastic Stack 5.0 alpha5. It's great that I can now use dotted variables again. At least now an ingest node will accept them but I still need to be able to rename them using an ingest node pipeline. I see in the documentation how to use the dot expander ingest node processor but it is not listed when I list the ingest processors. Am I overlooking something or is the documentation just ahead of the code?

5.0 is great! Thank you for any light you may be able to shed on this.
