Double Quotes in Logstash Ruby Code

Hi,
I know, the parsing would end in the ruby code of the filter plugin, if we use double quotes inside the block, but I have a regex to be used in the code, which has double quotes, something like this (/backingupsize: "([^/$]*)/)".

Is there anyway I can replace the double quotes to avoid the exception in Logstash ? please help @magnusbaeck.
