Doubts about Field-data cache

Hi all,

some doubts about caches

(i)as default ,field data cache has 30% of heap space and breaker limit is 60% of heap size.
how come field data cache (30%) can accept request of 59% data of heap space (more than 60 % is limit).????????

(ii) if field data cache is larger than cache size , what will happen if aggregation happens?

FYI , we are using ES 1.3.7 cluster

can you all please help us!!!

can anybody help us

  1. It means by default it'll use 30%, but may take up to 60%.
  2. It'll fail.
