Druid vs elasticsearch

Hello Folks,

We are doing a benchmarking on those two technologies for a lambda architecture. One of the biggest point of Druid is that it does aggregation when ingesting. That's why it can respond faster. This is what some of my collegue told me.

I am trying to find some reasons to work with elasticsearch and not Druid.

Do you know what the reasons Elasticsearch should be better than Druid ?

The thread that the comparison page links to is from 2014.

Not saying there won't be differences, but they're talking about versions of ES that are long gone.
