Elastic Cloud with Logstash HTTP Input

I would like to be able to send data to the Logstash pipeline using an HTML input plugin, running within Elastic Cloud. However, having set up a simple pipeline I get no response if I try to POST to it.

I assume this is because the port defined in the input plugin isn't available to the outside world. How should I go about making this work?

We manage Elastic Cloud support outside this forum - please see https://www.elastic.co/cloud/as-a-service/support

(Elastic Cloud supports ingest pipelines, but the logstash management UI requires a separate logstash service which currently has to be run outside cloud - it wasn't clear which of the 2 you were after)
