I have installed ELK 6.3 on Windows 2012. How can I manage them, meaning how to display and delete?

I checked indices in ..\Elasticsearch\data\nodes\0\indices, they look like this sHVQlPgCTIeq1i04_-fKLQ, how can I know what the day is it? How can I manage them, what tool use to show/delete them?
You should never modify or delete anything directly from the file system. Instead use the indices APIs.
