Elasticsearch 6.5 installer is not compatible with Java 11

I installed Java 11 with Elasticsearch 6.5, but they aren't compatible together. The installer says that the installation is completed but the service does not start without any errors or logs. Even when I try to start the service manually, it shows started, but on refreshing the page, it is back to stopped state.

can you share output from your logfiles please, otherwise this will be hard to debug.

Also, which elasticsearch version and which java version are you using exactly?
