Elasticsearch 6.x hardware sizing for an enterprise deployment

Hey Guys,

Have searched fully in Elastic portal and didn't find any document regarding hardware sizing of elasticsearch.

We are planning to deploy elasticsearch on an enterprise level which includes around 4000+ servers and 2500+ network devices. Have been wondering how much elasticsearch servers should i deploy and what should be the size of servers (CPU cores, RAM and Hard disk).

Mainly the data we are going to get is system metrics through metric beat or we will get the system metrics from an existing server monitoring tool & network monitoring tool.

Can someone advice me on the deployment sizing, or point out in the rite direction.
