Elasticsearch cluster has unassigned shards

Hi,

We have single node elasticsearch cluster. there are unassigned shards.
when I manually route them they are getting assigned to the local node.
is there a limit for number shards per node?

Regards,
Sudheer

Do you have replicas setup for your indices? The default replica count is
1, so if you only have a single node, the replica shards cannot be assigned.

Cheers,
