We are using Master Node, Hot and Warm data nodes and Coordinating nodes. Data is being fed to ES by logstash nodes.
Whether the elasticsearch output in logstash should point to the hot nodes or coordinating nodes? I believe it should point to the coordinating nodes to offload the coordinating node role from the data nodes. Please confirm.
As we are facing an issue connecting to the Coordinating nodes through logstash, is it OK if we point the logstash elasticsearch output to the Hot data nodes itself? When we point it the data node it works fine.
