Elasticsearch input query with sorting

Hi ,

On dev tools i am able to see the query working and fetching results as expected.

GET index/_search
{
  "query": {
    "query_string": {
      "query": "FT52402"
    }
  },
  "sort": [
    {
      "@timestamp": {
        "order": "desc"
      }
    }
  ]
}

However, in logstash elasticsearch input for , this does not produces any records.
May be something silly has changed.

query => '{ "query": {"query_string": { "query": "FT52402" } }, "sort": [{ "@timestamp": { "order": "desc" } } ]}'
