Elasticsearch keeps crashing

Hi all
I am using elasticsearch 1.2.1 with jetty plugin on ubuntu linux and oracle jdk 1.8.25. The Memory is 12 GB with 4 GB assigned to ES heap. It keeps crashing after indexing about 6 million documents and searching and faceting this data. and here is the error log<nabble_a href="hs_err_pid6690.log">hs_err_pid6690.log</nabble_a>

The JVM should not crash. That said, could you update to 1.4.1 ?
Also, you could give 6gb to the JVM.
May be try without any plugin?

I am using jetty plugin to have some layer of security. is there any recommendation regarding the security (for me to be able to decline jetty as you recommended)

Was just trying to help you to find the cause. Not suggesting that you should remove this plugin definitely.

You say, it "keeps crashing"

Is this exactly reproducible, or does the hs_err log file show crashes at
different "problematic frames"?
