Elasticsearch performance testing

Hi all,

We are trying to come up with performance tests, stress tests etc to calculate throughput and identify bottlenecks in our elasticsearch cluster. We are using elasticsearch exporter to export metrics from the cluster as well.

  1. Can you suggest what are the most important testing strategies ? Do we have any official documentation around this?
  2. What are the most important metrics that we should monitor during such tests?
