Good timing, I just wrote about this yesterday: “No alive nodes found in your cluster” message when using HTTPS endpoint in PHP API
If I had to guess, I'd say it's either SELinux policies or SSL. Run through that list I posted and see if any of them apply.
If not, can you post your code (particularly the config of the client) and I can take a look?
