Elasticsearch primary stuck in initializing status,help?

elasticsearch 2.1.1. i have 147 index, 5shards 2 rep, and 7data note, now data note timeout and soon into cluster。now i have 40 index is in red status,and i see pri is in initializing status.
what does is doing, and how soon fix this status
