Hi,

Currently we are using Elasticsearch Version 2.4.3 , logstash 2.4 and Kibana 4.5.

We are facing problem in maximum string field size limitation of 32KB.

We want to upgrade the ELK stack to stable version.

please help me to know current stable version for it and which will resolve above field size issue as well.

The latest version is 5.2.1.

The max term length of 32 KB comes from Lucene, the full-text search library used by Elasticsearch, and is still present in newer versions. Note that the option ignore_above allows to discard such values: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/ignore-above.html
