I have elasticsearch running on server. However, I did not manually turn it off and attempt to keep it always running, and was not sure why it stopped somehow without any specific reason. Is there anyway e.g. log, that I can trace this behavior?
Or any reason that elasticsearch might stop that I am not aware of?
In this case, is it possible to set up some sort of alert to notify me if there is elasticsearch error?
I installed using yum, and use the following command to start elasticsearch.
service elasticsearch start
I am not entirely sure whether what happened before it stopped. But the following is the log I can find before it stopped.
