Elasticsearch v2.3 disk throughput Throttle

we are currently using Elasticsearch v2.3

Cluster configuration Details:

  • 3 master Nodes ( t2.medium.search ) and 9 Data Nodes ( r4.xlarge.search )
  • EBS changed from gp2 to Provision IOPS
  • Storage is 250 Gib/Node

CPU Utilization of data nodes are :

we are facing the issue like your Domain is facing is experiencing throttling as you have the high disk throughput limits.

So how should we overcome that issue and how should we tuning the Performance.

Can anyone help me to solve that issue.

This is very, very old and has been EOL a long time. I would recommend you upgrade to the latest version.

It sounds like you are using an AWS managed service. This likely limits the troubleshooting that can be done so I would recommend contacting AWS support.

yes we are using AWS Managed Service and also reached out the AWS Support is advised to change the EBS Volume.

we changed it. After changing the EBS Volume we are facing that issue
