ElasticSearch works very slow

Suddenly, my ElasticSearch works very slow. When I do a query, I get the following:

[2018-10-16T11:33:41,924][ERROR][o.e.x.s.a.f.SecurityActionFilter] [OGAyjwj] blocking [cluster:monitor/stats] operation due to expired license. Cluster health, cluster stats and indices stats

If you have a new license, please update it. Otherwise, please reach out to your support contact.

I know about the security license, but my license was expired some months ago. Any idea?

What makes you think that this is the culprit? The above is not coming from a query, but from a watch execution.

Also can you explain in more detail what works very slow means? Is indexing slow? Is searching slow?

Please take some more time to properly write up an issue, especially about the changed behaviour.

Thank you!
