Enabling searching of descriptive geo values that are associated with LatLong in Elastic Search

What are the options to enable descriptive searching of geo documents via
elastic search?

We want a user to be able to search the following ways:

  • by the name of the location (associated with LatLong)
  • via their physical mobile location

The search needs to return descriptive locations within the geo distance
filter that we have set.

Hey,

I havent understood your current problem really (not sure what you mean
with descriptive search/descriptive locations particularly). Does this mean
a special sort of context for your searches?

Searching by name or geo location (or both) is not a problem, so I guess
there is something special in your question, I am not able to read out of
it

I think you answered it---we were wondering about capability. It sounds like elastic search is capable of supporting both descriptive and LatLong searching.

Thanks,
